ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTICE

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing or installation can cause this function to malfunction and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
