ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (GENERAL GUIDE)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, the system may need to be reset after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to fail.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window to the top position. If the glass drops after reaching the top, carry out a reset.

General reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window to the top again and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set. Always refer to the specific vehicle service information where available.
