ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. To avoid malfunction, do not operate the motor before it is installed in the door.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, a reset of the anti-pinch function is required.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until completed successfully.
