ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For regulators with an anti-pinch feature, the motor must be set up correctly in the vehicle. Do not test the motor before installation, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window. If it reaches the top and stays up, the setup is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check it remains closed.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
