Anti-Pinch Function Setup (Where Applicable)

If the motor is used with a window regulator that has an anti-pinch/one-touch function, it may need to be initialized after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail.
• The motors are factory-tested and pre-set, but may require resetting after installation.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully to check operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
