ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect handling before installation can cause this function to lose its setting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and operate the window up.
• If the window goes fully to the top and stays there, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to raise the window slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds with the window at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to lower the window slightly to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds with the window at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
