Anti-Pinch Function – Important Notice

This motor may be used with window regulator systems that feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect handling before installation can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Motors are factory tested and set correctly prior to supply.
• After installation, connect to the one-touch window switch and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the glass drops down again after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
