ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION & RESET

This window motor may be used with a regulator system that includes an anti-pinch safety function. Follow the reset procedure after installation if the window does not operate correctly.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch calibration may fail.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window. If the window goes fully up and stays at the top, the setup is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
