ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This motor may be used with window regulators that have an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Correct setup is required for proper operation.

• Do not test the motor before installation in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• The motors are pre-tested and set correctly prior to dispatch.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window. If the window drops after reaching the top, a reset is required.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure until successful.
