ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) window system, the motor must be correctly set after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: With the motor installed and connected to the one-touch switch, pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
