ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This motor may be used with window regulators featuring an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may need to be reset.
• Motors are factory tested and preset before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect to the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully to confirm correct operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it does not drop back down.

If the window still moves down after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
