ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If the vehicle uses an anti-pinch window system, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may need to be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: With the motor installed and connected to the one-touch window switch, pull the switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds when the window reaches the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check that it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
