ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (MOTOR)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch (one-touch) function, a reset procedure may be required after installation of the regulator and refitting the motor.

• Install the motor to the regulator and connect the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window up. If the glass returns down after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
