ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTICE (MOTORS)

If this regulator is used with a window motor featuring an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

General reset procedure for anti-pinch equipped motors:

• With the glass installed, pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top position.
• Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Press the switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom position.
• Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window to the top and verify it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
