ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR NOT INCLUDED)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation of the regulator. Follow the steps below if the window drops after reaching the top position.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• The motors are typically pre-set by the manufacturer, but may need resetting after installation.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure.
