ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (FOR MOTORS WITH ANTI-PINCH)

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch function, correct setup is essential for proper operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up: if the window goes fully up and stays at the top, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window is at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function operates correctly.
