IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MOTORS WITH ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, correct installation and reset of the motor are critical for proper operation.

ANTI-PINCH SETUP GUIDELINES

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Motors are typically tested and set correctly before delivery.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch, then pull the switch up to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops down again, repeat the above steps until successful.
