ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – IMPORTANT NOTICE

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly set after installation of the regulator.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch: if the window travels fully to the top and stays there, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds with the window at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds with the window at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until the function is correctly set.
