ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch / one-touch function. Testing the motor before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor in the door before testing.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window. If it reaches the top and stays, setup is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window fully down.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top again.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
