ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch one-touch window system, the motor must be installed and initialised correctly. Do not operate or test the motor before it is fitted in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

RESET PROCEDURE (ANTI-PINCH MOTORS)

• Step 1: With the regulator installed, pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch "up" position for 3–5 seconds when the window reaches the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch "down" position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
