ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – SETUP & RESET

For regulators/motors with anti-pinch functionality, correct setup is essential for safe and reliable operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and raise the window. It should travel fully to the top and stop.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, carry out the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully up.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully down.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top again and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
