ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)
For regulators supplied with motors that include an anti-pinch function, correct setup is required for proper operation.
- Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
- Install the regulator and motor and connect to the one-touch window switch.
- Operate the switch to confirm the window closes fully to the top position.
- If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.
Reset procedure:
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top again and verify correct operation.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the function operates correctly.
