ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch function, correct setup is critical for proper one-touch operation.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window goes up then drops slightly, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until it operates correctly.
