ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Do not operate or test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor assembly and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the window rises to the top and then drops, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top again.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
