Anti-Pinch Function Reset (If Applicable)

For window regulators with motors that include an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be set while installed in the door. Do not power-test the motor before installation, as this may require an anti-pinch reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: With the regulator installed, pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window fully down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top and check that it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
