ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If the vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with a one-touch window switch, follow these guidelines when installing the motor:

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and operate the window.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and check that it stays at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
