ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For window regulator motors equipped with an anti-pinch function, the motor must be set while installed in the door. Do not bench test the motor before installation or the function may need to be reset.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass reaches the top and stays, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
