Anti-Pinch Function Setup

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, the motor must be set correctly after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• The motors are factory tested and set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and operate the window up. If it goes up and stays at the top, it is set correctly.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops down again, repeat the steps until successful.
