ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch one-touch window system, the motor must be correctly initialised after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the regulator and motor, connect to the one-touch window switch and check operation.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top position, follow the reset steps below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure until successful.
