Anti-Pinch Function Reset (If Applicable)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch or one-touch window function, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Install the motor and regulator into the door and connect to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Pull up the switch; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until successful.
