ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power or test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the glass drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
