Anti-Pinch Function Setup

This regulator motor is designed for use with anti-pinch / one-touch window systems. Incorrect testing or setup can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

Installation Notes

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• The motors are pre-tested and correctly set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect to the one-touch window switch, and operate the window to full travel.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
