ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP

This regulator motor is equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power or test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch to raise the window; it should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is successfully reset.
