Anti-Pinch Function Setup

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing or installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Motors are pre-tested and set correctly before dispatch.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch. Pull up the switch; the window should travel fully up.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.

• For safety and warranty validity, installation by a qualified automotive mechanic is recommended.
• Some window regulators and motors may be fitted with tamper-evident seals on plugs and housings; do not remove these seals.
