ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (FOR MOTORS)

If used with a motor featuring an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and need to be reset.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window back to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
