ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR WITH ANTI-PINCH)

If used with a motor featuring an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should go fully up. If it drops after reaching the top, perform the reset below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window moves fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
