ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (GENERAL GUIDANCE)

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not bench test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

Typical reset procedure (check your vehicle manual for exact instructions):

• With the regulator and motor installed, use the one-touch window switch to move the glass fully up.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, perform an anti-pinch reset.
• Briefly pull the switch to move the window to the top, then hold the switch up for 3–5 seconds.
• Briefly press the switch to move the window slightly to the bottom, then hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds.
• Repeat the up and down cycle if necessary until the window reaches the top without dropping.
