ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE
This regulator is supplied without motor. If used with a motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly set or reset after installation.
Important handling notes:
- Do not test the motor before it is fitted to the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail.
- Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
- Pull up the switch to check operation; if the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.
Anti-pinch reset procedure:
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully up to the top.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top again and confirm it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
