ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET INFORMATION

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor may need to be reset after installation.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door before operating.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch and operate the window fully up.
• If the glass goes up then drops slightly, perform a reset of the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure (general guide):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the "up" position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the "down" position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is learned correctly. Always follow the specific procedure recommended for your vehicle where available.
