ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (MOTORS)

If used with a window motor that includes an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is mounted in the door, as this can disrupt the anti-pinch calibration.

General reset procedure (where applicable):

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Raise the window fully and check if it stays at the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to raise the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

Repeat the reset steps if the window still drops after reaching the top. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s repair instructions where available.
