ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – MOTOR RESET GUIDE

If your vehicle uses an electric window motor with anti-pinch/one-touch function, the following reset instructions may be required after installation. These steps apply to the window motor, not the regulator itself.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to raise the window. If the window goes up fully and stays up, no reset is needed.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
