ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR EQUIPPED SYSTEMS)

If used with a motor that has an anti-pinch function, the system may require resetting after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and need to be reset.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to raise the window. If the glass goes up fully and stays at the top, no reset is required.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully closed.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully open.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
