ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (FOR MOTORS WITH ANTI-PINCH)

If your vehicle uses a motor with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may need to be reset after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is correctly installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top. If it reaches the top and then drops, perform the reset steps below.

RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
