INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET (MOTORS WITH ANTI-PINCH)

If used with an electric motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, follow the reset procedure below after installation if the window does not operate correctly.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Check operation by pulling the switch up: the window should travel fully up.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is set correctly.
