INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH SETUP

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set up after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above reset steps until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
