ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET INFORMATION

This regulator is designed to work with electric motors that may have an anti-pinch function. If the window drops down after reaching the top position, the motor anti-pinch feature may need to be reset.

• Install the motor in the door before operating the window.
• Connect the motor to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window to the top; if it drops back down, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
