ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION INFORMATION

This window regulator motor may be used in systems with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and test the operation.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET STEPS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window to the top and verify it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
