ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION (IF EQUIPPED)

Some electric window motors use an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Do not power-test the motor before installation or the function may need to be reset.

If the window drops slightly after reaching the top position, reset the anti-pinch function as follows:

• Step 1: With the regulator installed and connected, pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the switch again to move the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure.
