ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window. If the window reaches the top and then drops, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure (general guide):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
