ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)
For regulators with motors incorporating an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function, correct setup is essential for proper operation.
- Do not power or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
- Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
- If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset as below.
Reset procedure:
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.
If the glass still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
